Naming and identity

Quartier

A Moscow real estate agency.

Naming

Naming came first. The process began with variations on the word “lemon” and ended with the more versatile Quartier. It echoes the Russian word for apartment and means a quarter or district in French. The name was also unique among Russian real estate agencies.

Logo

The next stage was to design the logo, colour palette and typography. As the brand targets middle- and upper-income audiences, the identity needed to convey a fitting level of confidence. The core symbol is a crown containing one of Moscow’s most recognisable Stalinist skyscrapers.

Colours

The colour scheme combines deep green and gold tones. This choice reinforces the brand positioning and allows the mark to remain expressive across different surfaces.

Typography

Geometric grotesques were selected as the brand typefaces: restrained, refined and highly legible. They complete the combination of symbol, colour and typography.
